The "HasShadow property is obsolete" message is harmless. It's there to tell whoever wrote the program that's generating the message to update their code to conform to Apple's guidelines.]

You don't need scissors to "cut" anything, as far as I can tell. You just need to use the right selection tool.
I've included some screen shots to demonstrate...
The first example shows what happens when you select any one object with the black arrow tool (Selection Tool) that has been Grouped. It selects all of the Grouped objects.
The second example shows what happens when you select any one object with the white arrow tool with the plus sign (Group Selection Tool) that has been Grouped. It selects that object and not the Group. (double clicking on one of the grouped objects will select the whole group)
The third example shows what happens when you select any point on one object with the white arrow tool without the plus sign (Direct Selection Tool) that has been Grouped. It selects a specific control point on that object.
You might also use the pulldown Object > Ungroup to make selection easier.

I know I'm bumping a slightly old post, but I'm in the exact same position as you! I really wanted to get Black to for gaming nostalgia, but I read online that they are planning on a 3D pokemon title, and that game won't work on the DSi. So, I think I've decided to just go and get a 3DS--
Nope. There have been no "official" rumours of a 3DS Pokemon game in the style of Black/White (and the other main series games). Of course the next one will be out on the 3DS. But there have been no rumours surfacing yet and it'll be at least 1 year until we see a new game, with the average being 3-4 years for a new title.
Of course there's always a kid on Youtube who says his uncle Jed works for Game Freak and knows all about the next game ;)

Wow, 30 inch display. Seems a bit much, especially with the economy being like it is right now, but it might be better by the time they would release this. I think 30 inches is to big for a computer display, sure it would be nice, but the price would probably be a too much, not to mention having a 30 inch monitor 2 feet in front of you seems a bit much. I would probably want one, being the gadget-geek that I am, always wanting new things.
As for the "a new digital lifestyle device", I would like to see some portable video drive. It would need to have composite RCA outs, for hook up to a TV or something (or an adapter). I do a number of videos for my church, and it would be much easier to just load the video onto this device, take it to church and hook it up, and be good to go. Would cut down on using Mini-DV tapes, and would even be cheaper than DVD's (with current prices anyway). This is the only thing I could see needing 800mbps FW.

Since you have spent so much on MBP why not choose the original one.
If you bought used MBP, too old to buy a new original, you can choose Grade A replacement or a refurbish seller you trust.

Seems like a pretty good choice. I didn't realize anything was beating the Vertexes, although it's been about a year since I went shopping. (The IBM's were always a little faster, but a lot more dollars as well.)

So I won't be giving it back with risk but should I just get a refund?
If I C.O.D it back to him, he will have to pay the $650 back to me before he gets his 16gb back. Even if he was legitimate, who cares, I'll have my $650 back and nothing lost and a new iPhone from a reliable source to gain.
It's only $100 or so more for a sealed 32gb (remembering this is AU pricing), so it's still cheaper than directly through Apple.
The reason I went with this guy is well, I went a little Apple crazy. I wanted an iPhone so badly I wasn't thinking.
If I get my money back, one thing I've learned is, if it's through ebay to always use Paypal and have a listing. That way I am protected no matter what.

About 40 people now. They asked what model each person wants and handed out tickets. The deck of tickets was not that big but I don't know if there are more inside the store. They said black 16g wifi is sold out for now when I asked.

I would like to create a simple iphone app for my sports team, all it would need to include is:
-twitter feed
-youtube feed
-rss news feed from the main site
-schedule
-map
Am I right in thinking that the only software I need is xcode 4 and a developers license to get the app into the app store?
I have some experience in coding, mainly HTML. From the screenshots of xcode 4, it looks similar to dreamweaver in that you can work in a GUI(add table by clicking on the table button) or by coding it.
Is it that simple, or am I getting it wrong?
Also, if I buy a developers license for a year, what happens after that year? Does the app stay in the store, but I cannot update it, or does it disappear from the app store?
Apologies if these are stupid questions, I have looked for an answer, but have come up with nothing so far.

Hi, if I want to update my jailbroken iPhone will I need to restore it before (or at any point during)?

The 8800GS in the iMac was a mobile GPU, not a desktop GPU. Even then, the 8800GS was quite a bit behind an 8800GT, never mind an 8800GTS.
A 6770 would be a noticeable upgrade. It's not a 6970, but still a very noticeable upgrade. Though yeah, don't expect to crank at native res on a 27" for new games. Still it's 6 GPU generations ahead of what you had, and the new display has 60% more pixels.
TL;DR: enjoy your upgrade.

I buy sports games for both multi and single
Everything else pretty much is for multi. You actually get a challenge when you play multiplayer.
Gears of War is actually of the first games I actually enjoy playing single player.

this is not a bug. its always been that way. it truncates your password. better yet, it just ignores everything past 8 chars.
